Hi i want to install 1994 q45 heater-A/C controls on a 1991 q45. Because the lights are burned out on it and i want to have the defroster and the leg warming function too. I know to dumb reasons but i just want to know.

Pretty sure it works. I put a 91 HVAC in my '92. I think the parts are the same.

It will not work. Different size, different design. 90-93 are cross compatible, but that's it. Save yourself a lot of trouble and get it fixed at http://www.jerrytucker.net

I have been buying up cheap ones on eBay if I can get them for less than $15 or so shipped and find that most of them are bad. Got one good spare so far, and a couple of "cores" - the display problem was very widespread.

Oh. Sorry to be wrong then.

I guess do what Heath suggests. Hit eBay or get one from a NICO member. I got one to replace my burned out screen for $10.

Yeah teh 90-93 uses an all in one control unit, the 94 has a display and a seperate control unit. You could probably retrofit a 94 into a 90-93 (id have check the wiring diagram), but itd provide barrels of fun for wiring.

Are those even the same size? Are the connectors the same?

The layout of the buttons is quite different than your stock one. I think you should try to get your hands on a 90-93 HVAC.

no it wont work, the connections are COMPLETELY different... You'd need to have the seperate control unit for the 94 and splice and dice it in, and even then it may not even work

The chassis electrical system on the 94 is completely different from the 9093

A NICO member has proven that with some work a 1994-1996 Infiniti Q45 HVAC display/Control Unit (They are separate on 1994-1996 Q45's) will fit a 1990-1993 Infiniti Q45. Nineteen ninety Infiniti Q45's have the HVAC Control/display as one unit.
