Here's where it began.

I replaced the cap and rotor a few weeks ago and began to have issues, problem arose with normal driving. Breakup was around 2500-3500 RPM. Wouldn't go past without me taking my foot off of the gas.

So I replaced the cap and rotor with the OEM one and the problems were still there. Turns out, the plug wire boots were pushed up on top of the valve cover. Pushed them down, issue resolved (sort of).

Problem came back two days ago, I took the plug wires out to make sure the plugs were tight, but the plug wires broke at the boots (yes, the new ones). I replaced the wires, tightened the plugs and the problem seemed to have resolved.

Problem came back the following day. I replaced the plugs and everything was fine until the motor warmed up.

When half/three quarter throttle, everything is fine, but when on the highway and I go WOT, the car will not shift. It will climb until it reaches the point where it will break up and not shift. Let off the throttle a bit, it will shift. It will breakup and shift on occasion only.

NO idea what to do. I'm at a loss and need this resolved. I don't know what else to do. Any help is appreciated.

I would start by checking the tps.

Disconnected the lines from the EVAP Purge Solenoid (Something I fixed right before the problem began), problem remains. Disconnected the MAF, and the car idled normally, but when I tried to take it up the road, I got backfiring and hesitation. Undriveable to say the least.

Refer to the fsm proper testing on the tps. That tells us nothing.

I stopped and pushed down the plug wire boots again, the issue went away. But it seems like once I take the car to WOT a few times, the boots will push out of the valve cover, only slightly and not noticeable to the eye.

remove the plug wire from the plug and pull the wire where it attaches to the plug farther out the boot tube. then put the wire back on the plug until you hear a click (the wire snapping onto the plug) then hold the wire where it comes out the top of the boot and gently pull on the wire while you finish seating the boot to the valve cover.
