Worth the Money?

Hey everyone I've looking around for a 240SX (no luck) and everyone wants a crazy amount for them ($3000 CDN w/250,XXX). Anyways to the point I came across a 200SX SE-R. $1700 and 250,XXX also, exterior looks to be ok. Took a peak inside and seems to be clean. Didn't look under the hood or under carriage. Just wanted to know if its worth $1700 seeing it will be a project car.

250,000 is a lot of miles regardless of what car. I'd try to knock it down a few hundred at least, but if you can do that I'd go for it. Well, I actually don't know the Canadian exchange. I'd venture to say that it should be no more than $1200ish US, $1500 US if it's rust-free and runs like a champ.

its a 1995. The exterior looks to be ok. I want to take a look under the hood to make sure theres no rust there and also at the under carriage if it possible. Anything over $1000 seems like much for a project car....then again it runs so....anyways thanks for your help.

yeah the problem is most people know that a 240Sx is a pretty popular ride and will charge more than they are worth now adays.

yea tell me about it.....even if the car is covered in rust inside and out ppl will still sell for 2K-3K....i had an 89 b4 it was written off.....and im telling that car was so much better then my new 07 rabbit.....luckily i managed to salvage the motor transmission etc etc.....while ere on this topic will my CA from my 240 fit in a 200SX?

Talk this seller down, I bet you could get a good bit hacked off of that price.

I'm going back this weekend to see the way it drives and to talk this guy down.....I've found other cars between the 800-1000 mark and running (but non-nissans )...so I will see what this guy says
