everything works. only problem is he says that it just doesnt run to its full potential. im hoping that when i go look at it its nothing major.

its autotastic but maybe in the next few months il change it.

just lookin for some opinions.

also he said its been sitting for 6months.

I would check it out. You could probably sell the wheels/tires for a few hundred bucks.

UPDATE:
i found out whats wrong. its misfiring. piston 1 doesnt even fire. others are running half a**.
also its burning coolant so either the block is cracked or something is wrong with the head, i forgot what it was.

my friends dad has a 7000 dollar computer program that runs diagnostics for any car. once he figures out exactly whats wrong and how much itl cost wel go from there. perhaps i can get him to a grand and pick up a junkyard motor.

all in all, the car is GREAT. no rust whatsoever. HUD still works. the autotastic transmission shifts just fine. car is shaking because the motor is shaking from the misfire.

sitting on 18' giovanni rims and almost new low profile tires. maybe i could sell em and just buy an sr20 right off the bat.

If you're around chicago, 240's with no rust are like unicorns. I've had my 240 for a year and am still finding/fixing rust. Another note, junkyard KA's are super hard to find around chicago as well, there are lots of us looking for a good find. Let us know what you do cause even though I have a rust bucket, I enjoy a challenge!

Even with a bad motor I'd try and get it (maybe up to $13-1400 if the car is that mint). Even if you spend $500 (no idea what motors/swap parts go for by you) you'll still walk away with a mint running coupe for under $2k. Can't go wrong there. I got $800 for my 89 coupe shell that was pretty clean, not as mint as that one though.
