i'm looking towards the 97+ s14's simply b/c of the front bumper/projectors etc.

how much does this conversion/front cost if i were to just get a 95-96?

going rates and ease of install??

also, on a side note,

there really isnt anything (hardware wise) different between the 95-96 and 97+ 240sxs right? engine/suspension/etc/etc

It is real hard to get the 97 98 front end. I would get the 97.

the reason why i want the 97+ is for the projectors---so i can get hid's...

r there any alternatives to getting this, like 95-96 lights/projectors/hid kits

thanks guys

Ive see the front end coversions for a little over 1000. Install is easy since your only changing fenders, hood, lights, bumper. Dont for get paint job.

No diffrence in hardware.

95-96 lights will be harder to see with HIDS, since the lights dont have the clear cover the 97-98 do. Get the 97-98 models, much newer, lower miles.

of course you could just get the euro spec headlights for the 95-96's and have the glass headlights without the added theft appeal that the 97-98's will no doubt be bringing in the near future. As these cars get more popular, theivery will become rampant... and guess which ones everyone will go for!??? just something to think about... LOGAN

Depends what your looking for? If you are going for looks only, you can get a 95 and do the s14.5 front end conversion, and still save money in the long run (like previously stated, the conversion should run you roughly $1000). If this will be your daily driver, go with the 97+, as it will have lower miles and be in overvall better condition. The euro spec light look just like the 95-96 lights in shape, except the lenses are clear and they are projectors. If memory serves me correctly, the housings run around $600 a pair, just by themselves.

lenses are glass and they are projectors! 600 is about right. they make 95-96's look soo nice... now why didnt nissan just make them that way from factory for us?
