Worst Pick and pull ever. San Deigo people read.

Alright, so I just got back from a wreck yard called "Pick and Pull" down around chula vista. I will never do business with those god **** people ever again. I found myself two choice items: A straight hatch with the glass in it and no wiper, and a 91 "shark" front end with a decent styro support. Alright. So me and a bunch of my buddies pull it all off and bring it up to the lady so I can pay for all my lovely finds.

Well thats when things went south (and not in the friendly Texan southern way either)

All 240's are kept in what they call a "PREMO" lot, which requires me to pay two entrance fees to even SEE whats in there, cause they built a hug 20 foot wall around the god **** thing. Strike 1

I had to wait a total of 15 minutes for her to finish her conversation in spanish with another coworker, before I could get service. Strike 2

And then they tried to charge me $30 for the two tiny (4 inch) plastic grills in the bumper. After arguing with the lady for a while she decides to let me take them for free, cause she's feelin' nice... strike 3.

I'm never, ever going to that place ever again. Maybe I will go to the ones near LA, but I WILL NEVER go to that pick and pull ever again. I'll go across the street to ecology instead and look for my parts there.~Nick

There was one I went to a few years ago and I asked if they had an S14. They said they had one that was hit from the rear. I say ok can I see it...they say no but they will pull any part that I need. Well how the f*ck will I nkow until I see the condition of it... I'm not going to wait hours for you to pull parts and then get them to see they are FUBAR.

I hate junkyards. I own a 89 hatch and it has been 2yrs...... no title yet.......I'm a little .O. to say the leastThis is my project car so never really pressured them, until now that I want to put it on the street...

heheheh yeah dont go to that place i always go to ecology in chula vista.....they have all kinds of 240's but people take all the good stuff really fast so you have to like really get to that place early.....i got my piggy lip for 10 dollars there....and i got some other stuff from there too for really cheap.....and you only pay 2 dollars for the entrance fee..........so hey man where in sd do you live?
