After my 'experience' on the highway at night with fog, rain, and flaming headlights, I thought it'd be a fun topic.

What was your worst day with your G?

Topping your situation is going to be hard SneaKe.

My worst day was today. I filled up with 91 octane at $4.319 a gallon. Then I realized I have not had it washed in about 8 weeks. (white doesn't show the dirt that bad).

Either the day I came out of work, and it had been keyed, or the weekend following, when I wetsanded the whiole car.

Nothing more unsettling than looking at your car covered in scratches.

You probably looked and thought, 'wow, those are some strange reflections on my car... OMFG!'

I've had a similar experience.

The key scratches were small, but after the sanding... they covered the entire car. That was when I was like "WTF did I do?" Then buffed it with three different compounds, and was like "Yeah, that's the stuff right there".

OK, so, I'm going to admit to a major brain phart....Took the wifie's G to gas it up. She was with me. I popped in the nozzle then proceeded to clean the windshield. The bug that I thought was a bug was in fact a very small chip. It took a little bit to convince myself that the small chip was not going to wash away. Anyway, got in the car and told my wife about the chip and she wasn't happy either.Started driving away when I see movement in the rearview! Looked like a HUGE black snake jumped up!!! Suddenly, I realized I hadn't removed the nozzle! Quickly stopped, inspected for damage (none thank goodness), put the nozzle back in the pump and sped away!!.

BWAhahahahahha... Sorry, couldn't help it.

When I was 20 and worked at a Circle K, as usual (back then) I was baked, and not paying attention. Some filled up and was waiting in line for the pump to stop automatically. She paid, and left. About 5 minutes later, I notice that there's "water" running across the highway... I look over, and the pump is spraying gasoline out of it's side. The hose is completely gone, and I look down at the pump control and see the numbers ticking upward. It took a few seconds for it to dawn on me, that fuel is pouring out in the highway. I hit the E-stop button, and call 911.

450 some gallons were pumped. The cops and FD showed up, and shut down the highway for a couple of hours while foaming the scene.

I felt like a douche.

The day I took my G35 coupe into the dealership to have the driver's seat assembly replaced. I dropped the car off (I live 120 miles from the dealership) and went to a movie. I returned to find that the tech had disassembled my G and then found that they had ordered the passenger assembly by mistake. I got a loaner but was without my car for two weeks and had to make an extra 240 mile round trip.

Just got back from 6 weeks in Newfoundland on the east coast of CANADA

Had a JWT HD clutch kit installed there , 3 days and 200 more km on my car when I got it back .

The day I left to come home , went into the mall for some snacks on the road . I came out and someone had taken a shopping cart and played smash up derby with the passenger side of it . 2k estimate

That sucks^ i feel as if parking lots are more dangerous for cars then the road is. At least you can kind of control what is happening when your car is moving.

ps- your sig is huge i suggest resizing it before one of the mods deletes it even though your car is pretty sexy

Having my G towed and my license suspended for 7 days last month.

I was headed northbound on a street that turns into a highway past a set of lights. Unfortunately, before the lights it's 50km's and after the lights (where it would then be considered a highway) it's 100km. I was doing 102km. So yeah, 52km over.

Speeding ticket - min. $2000 max $10000 and possible car crushingAutomatic second ticket as it is considered "racing" - $1500 Impound fee - $386Lawyer $1500

So yeah... not kewl...

Worst day was when the clutch pedal more or less stopped working (stuck to the floor, and JUST barely allowed me to disengage and reengage the clutch), and then of course, the next morning, when I got within sight of the dealership, the clutch pedal popped off the floor and was "fine" for the technician who checked it. =(

You probably popped the clutch in 1st gear when your RPM's were over 4500. It's a safety feature that all our G's have.

The day I almost had to shoot a man over his road rage. He freaked out that I honked at him when he tried to overtake the lane I was in and he chased me home... I should have out run him, but I stopped to confront the jackass (DO NOT ATTEMPT) He doesn't know how close he came to receiving an extra hole in his forehead that day. Thanks to training and self restraint, this guy gets to live another day to ram another person off the road!

Hmm, haven't had any days like some of you. Worst days with my G involve the service dept writing down an incorrect mileage reading (200 miles over, 2 numbers were in wrong spots) and I freaked out thinking that someone in the service dept drove my car 200 miles.

Also, was traveling yesterday and was passing a semi with two trailers. The semi hit the rumble strip on the side of the road and the trailers started going all over the lane, sometimes crossing into mine. I floored it and got by him...scary stuff.

The worst day I've had though is when I waxed my G over MDW and put in all of these scratches or something. I think I figured out how they got there though. I let my ex-gf's step dad use my ScratchX and gave him the foam pad from my wax to use. I don't think I washed the pad after...so I don't think it was wax or anything I did really while waxing. Still working on having them taken out though.

I don't see why baby making and the act thereof on board would be the worst day...unless it was an accident/unplanned.

Haha, well I was referring more to the act of baby making more than baby making...just pass on the baby part.

First week in the new car, me and my girl are coming back from a fancy date, and feel 'the mood'. We start things off, and decide to move somewhere with a bit more room, take a look to the back seat, and notice a big uncomfortable looking plastic thing that won't fold up. Mood killer...

Realizing that the coupe seats aren't comfortable to sleep in like my wife and I used to do at the beach.

Realizing that my coupe is not for baby making!!! I ended up pulling her out of the car and leaning her over the open door...
