Haven't posted up on here much but heres what happened...
I know this isn't anything compared to the guy who posted about his car gettting totaled which rly sucks, but i had a bad experience today. i was doin some work at one of the branches of the credit union i work for and was crossing to the other side of the road. i make it across one side ok and as i made it to the other side i made sure to stay in my lane but this female driver decides to pull out of this body shop parking lot and make a wide as$ turn. she enters my lane and comes in contact with my car on my front passenger corner. my headlight is kinda broken, bumper scraped up, fender bent, door won't open, drivers side rim scraped from me swerving from the impact.....
i bought my coupe brand new, august 1st. i waited like 2 months to find out they couldn't get me what i wanted in manual transmission, so i settled for one that was the exact same but auto. i had enough of a headache getting the beauty and 3 months later this crap happens. .......

it was funny cuz she said she just got it out of the shop at that moment from gettin fixed. pfffft

Silver lining to the cloud maybe? IDK how texas "fault" laws etc work...
First off, your all good man (as far as HUMAN body condition) thats a plus!
The door doesnt open bc the fender is pushed back, so the door should be fine, just dont try and open it before you get the fender removed or you will damage the door IMO.
And depending on how "creative" your insurance adjuster is (find a FRIEND who can help locally) you may be able to come out of this with some nice mods for your car!
Truth be told, theres several front bumpers on ebay for peanuts bc of people getting new fascias etc... you could go the high road and kick in some loot to get a stillen/ed/etc bumper... OR when the ins co writes this up as a new bumper (300+paint) you can pick one up off ebay for around a hundo!
The insurance co will write off your headlight for $250+ and you can get one on ebay for much less if your lucky...
The wheel.. msrp is somewhere around 400 a wheel i think (first off you can buy em on ebay or from members here for PEANUTS as well) or you could go aftermarket...
Just when you think its at its "worst day ever" theres "CHANGE" (obama related? spooky lol).
Be patient and see how it pans out... but ask here if you have issues, and dont just drop it off at a bodyshop and have them fix it... theres ways to get ahead using the NICO resources!

thanks guys, and yes i'm glad im ok, after i calmed down i checked if the lady was ok too, i'm not a complete jerk! i just got a headache from dealin with all of it and i previously had one that was almost gone until this!

thx for all the tips LBC. now that you mention getting a friend in the body shop biz, i can maybe get my sis dad who owns a shop to grab me a new stillen bumper instead of factory. i don't mind sticking with the factory rims because they aren't all that bad, plus the ones i want aren't all that cheap. well actually not more than factory rims.
oh how i wish i could get those HID projector headlights that were availible as a GB.
this is going to be a headache. i hope to AT LEAST my precious back to normal even if i don't get anythin special out of it. hopefully a new bumper with no nicks from rocks!

Sorry to hear about the accident man. Hey I live in Houston and also have a red AC. Let me know if you want to get the OEM front bumper and wheels for much cheaper than from the dealership and still less than ebay if you take out shipping charges. They are practically brand new since I changed them out 2 weeks after I got the car.

what did u have to do?....and i hate to see a red coupe like that. sorry to hear man. and that girl should had..had someone else drive her newly refreshed car out the lot. Back home, and go from there... kinda makes me angry.
