Worn Brake Noises While Driving

I have a problem with worned brake like noises while driving, to me they sound exactly like how brakes are suppose to sound when they wore out, this sound only comes from the front not the rear.

My vechicle only has only around 20000 miles, I took out the wheels last weekend to check the pads myself, and the pads are not worned out at all they still have a lot of wear left on them and i also use brake dust cleaner on the pads to clean the pads from brake dust. So after also doing a tire rotation also since I was taking my wheels off to check the brake pads. I drove the vehicle and its been over a week and it is still making the noise, the noise has been occurring for months. I have also checked the brake fluid, brake fluid is high still. And my brake replacement lights aren't on either.

Anyone with a similiar problem? I remember Nissan wanted to charge me 40 for looking at the brakes and then 95 for cleaning them and what not.

If you are getting a squealing noise, especially when driving slowly, have the brakes looked at immediately. There are 2 brake pads, and the ones on the back are harder to see. There is a very good chance the brake pads could be worn out or there is some other damage.

If you think $135 is expensive, a complete brake job can easily cost you $500 to $1000! :eek

Your brakes should be checked and cleaned at least once per year, typically in the spring time. This will save you a lot of headaches... and ensure your safety.
