Here we are at Maple Grove Raceway in PA, making the fastest pass ever recorded, for a Nissan in a 1/4 mile. We are going to be at Englishtown for the NHRA event to do it again in front of the masses. We encourage all of you Nissan guys to come down, and show your support.

6.630 second 1/4 mile@ 215 mph...damn!

We plan to go faster at Englishtown knowing the car has a lot left in it.

i dont know what maple groove is like but that pic has to be from when you were at my local track, Atco raceway. of couse i was working and couldnt see another 6.6sec et

omg 6.64 seconds at englishtown this thing is insane!!!!!!!! i made mad money betting people that the nissan would own everything else out there, like it did.. Sweet arse car my friend......

check out calling all ka-ts in the ka-t section for more info from englishtown last weekend ( oct 1-2)

Yes, we will be running the Pro-Car next year in NDRA and NHRA. The amount of races this year was limited due to the shear amount of testing required to get this engine program off the ground. As you know the VQ is very new, so there were no shoulders to stand on when learning the capabilities and limits of the engine (uhggm..unlike the 2jz). The VQ proved its worth in competition against the 2jz guys out there, and I am confident they're scratching their heads thinking about what tomorrow will bring. Gary Rubio (team owner), and Andrew Rubio (Driver) have been invaluable when it comes to the teams progress. Andrew Rubio, who you've seen rockin the Silver Pro-Street Tire car (8.33 sec.1/4) will be suprising us all again next year with something new. I cant tell you what, but I can guarantee it will be awesome. If any of you guys have any questions, or are interested in products used on our cars, please do not hesitate to call. We are happy to be part of such a supportive community, and look forward to some more victories by Nissan...

Maple Grove is right outside of Reading, PA. When i was about 10 I used to go there with my Mom a lot, got to see one Keystone Nationals, back in the Day watching Joe Amato and John Force own! Back on topic, I didnt get to see any sweet Nissans back then but I'm glad they are making their presence known now, great Job

Congrats on the great pass! But didn't Titan go 6.4X @ 220+ MPH like 2 and a half years ago?

Look at the date of the original post. And again, note he said "unlike the 2jz development, they have already achieved such numbers with a relitively new R&D motor).
