World Rally Championship Round ONE MONTE CARLO
I was just wondering how many of yall are watching WRC round 1 at MONTE CARLO tonight on the speed Channel? ITs AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

TEAM CITROEN and LOEB did awesome in this Rally.FORD TEAM did awesome aswell taking the second and third spots. (wish ford would bring an AWD focus to the US to compete with the STI's and MITSU's Lan EVO)
WHAT the Hell happeded to the lan evo team though? i guess that year off and new car worked against them.
BUt i really hope that the Ford team will take the manufactures title this year:D

Since the car was just introduced, I'd imagine Mitsubishi is happy to have finished the rally (with one car, at least). They're currently using a 5 speed manual transmission instead of the sequential paddle-shifted gearbox normally seen in a WRC car. I believe Mitsubishi has said that both the gearbox and the differentials will be improved this season as long as the rest of the car stays solid.
IMO, if anyone has a chance at beating the French teams, it's Ford. As much as I'd like to cheer for the Blue Oval, I'm a Subie fan!

oh dont get me wrong i love subbies, but hey it would be nice to see ford take it. And one more thing, why doesnt ford bring the AWD Focus Cossie over here? IMO i think they need to do it quick or else risk losing out on that segment of the market. Im sure there is a reason why they havent or possibly will not do it, but taking it from a hard core performance fan, why not? you know.?
