Well here it is. Something that has NEVER been done with the coupe! I give you the Dangeris GTR Tail light Mod!

This mod deletes the individual turn signal and integrates it into the stop light and it is DOT LEGAL!!!! and reversible if you need to go back to stock configuration...but why would you?I'll let the video speak for itself. I apologize in advance though. The video goes blurry at times cause the dang camera kept trying to auto focus. Anyway the first is turn signals themselves, then the brakes applied with turn signals, then park lights on with turn signals, then park lights on, brakes applied and turn signals. enjoy

If a lot of people like this mod and would like to do the same to their coupe, I will start an interest thread and do group buy, similar to what Doc and Surman did I still would need to figure out pricing so stand by on that!

Nice dangeris...is it just adding a dual filament into the brake light socket and splicing the power from the signal to the second filament?

Or a new taillight in itself?

I don't have geese in the area so I think I would be safe....unless it attracts small finches too.

Scrutmonkey: I'm using the existing dual filament bulb that is already in the stoplight. hence why it is a stop/park light. There is spicing involve but it's alot more than just to the signal wire. Trust me. I fooled around with this for a couple of weeks and tried all sorts of different configurations. None of them worked until now

Proof of conept took a couple of weeks. The actual hook up..a couple of hours but that was because I was figuring where to run everything.

If I make a kit, install time will be about 30min - 1hr.

Actually, strobes are going in there (for the shows) Some how strobes attract people like moths to a light ... go figure

I like it.

Seems like the reverse of what Rob did a while ago...

I think he just made the standby tail lights be the little corner red bulbs, and the center round bulbs only activate during braking.

I like it this way better.

Any price range ballparks?

as of this point, I'm not sure what amount is going to be...depends on my suppliers price and what not. But I'm trying to keep the cost down so everyone can afford it, and not just the coupe community.

Scott, If it was that easy, I would have posted up the wiring diagram. Why waste your time trying to figure it out when you can just buy my kit. I promise it's not going to be hella expensive!

If we figure it out we'll post a video the same that Dangeris did, however, it will remain a secret... figure it out on your own or buy his kit when it's ready .
