No they didn't. I was surprised at how well the N Korean's defended. All goals in that game were amazing. You realize that those teams were top and bottom of the rankings. N.Korea hasn't played World cup soccer in like 40 years or something like that. So no, They didn't beat the crap outta them.

The Portugal game was good too. Got more interesting in the last 20mins when Drogba came on the field.
Also Ronaldo's Yellow was funny. He had 3 men covering him and got slide tackled and still walked away with a yellow.

Haven't really been following it since I'm not much of a soccer fan, but the entire family and I are rooting for Spain(I think in part because we're Cubans of Spanish ancestry).

Don't get sucked into the Coca Cola rankings cause they mean completely nothing at this stage of the game. It was a good game from the North Korean side but they were never going to win against Brazil. And Ronaldo gets yellow cards for his reputation as a faker. Most of his career falling on his face and pretending to be hurt and fauled is what gets these kinds of calls against him. Guy has loads of skill and talent but I hate him for his faking and I hope he gets some kind of disease from Paris Hilton.

My notes on the World Cup...
- GO Uaraguay! France you look terrible.
- Leave England's goalie alone. He will be fine, it was just a hiccup.
- Argentina looks sharp. Greece... WTF?
- Germany you are officially the favorites. But remember, it was Australia. Play them with Aussie rules and they would do the same to you...
- Netherlands and Denmark was probably the best game during this World Cup. Japan, you probably won't make it but make sure to fight for that Cinderella story...
- Italy looks sluggish, Paraguay is playing inspired football and thank you New Zealand and Slovakia for the 2nd best match so far.
- Portugal that was an absolute must win. You guys just dug your self into a hole you might not get out of
- Brazil you needed a 1 in a million shot to barely beat a North Korean team. North Korea and Brazil might be the ones leaving the "Group of Death". Portugal and Ivory Coast looked terrible.

Other Notes
- 21 total goals in this World Cup scored by 21 different people. Weird.
- This World Cup is on pace to be the lowest scoring World Cup ever
- Ronaldo stop being a b****, refs stop encouraging that crap. While you're on the ground crying and grabbing your ankles, you could be on your feet advancing the ball and potentially scoring.

The swiss were kinda reserve but started getting tough by the end.

Ramos was sick. Navas should held on to the ball a bit more before just booting it to the middle of the box.

The goal was ugly but I was standing shouting so I can't complain.

That goal was absolutely awesome to me. After being taken out by the keeper, dude manages to pass the bass with his thigh while upside down in the air, and pass leads to goal. that's awesomeness to me. Pure luck, but that's just simply amazing.
