I have some parts to fix my AC system including a brand new Calsonic Compressor, new Drier, working condenser and condenser fan so what else should I replace or switch out. These are the major components, but are there any other parts I should look into replacing? I'm working on getting a new climate control unit as well.

I picked up the compressor a year ago from [email protected] and it cost about $100. It was a great deal because they were selling it at remanned cost because the manufacturer's box it came in was destroyed. Then UPS lost it for about 6 months, but I finally got it. Jensen did have the Calsonic compressors, so ask them about a remanned or a brand new one.

The evaporator is usually the first to fail, then compressor from lack of preventative maintenance. The oil breaks down and turn ACIDIC eating the evaporator aluminum and the seals bearings in compressor.

The solution is to change the system oil frequently [every 3 years] and change receiver dryer every time.

There were various updates in the hoses to improve cooling and extend their lives.
