well this is my first import and i'm working on doing a all motor build. I just want to do something different everyone around me is doing turbo builds so I decide on a all motor build. I have a 90 ka24e that i'm doing the ka24de head swap on and the indavaul throttle bodies. I'm going to be running the mega squirt feul mang. setup. I'm also going to be running a direct port nos setup 75 shot is as big as i think i can go. i was wondering if the is anything else that i can do to get some hp out of it. i'm also going to be running a header and 2.5 exhaust all the way back. just not to sure what is the best header to run. any input would be appericated. I'm trying to hit 300hp with it is it possible with a all motor build.

best headers i guess would be hotshot i dunno about pacesetters headers.. you should research that and look at all the available header options you have. Your trying to hit 300hp with or without the 75 shot of nitrous, as far as i know nitrous isnt all motor :P but goodluck with your project of buildin an all motor ka, there isnt crazy aftermarket support for the motor and its internals so if your gonna go into major tweaking and details it'd have to be custom work, other then that goodluck man and post your end results from time to time.. sounds intrestin

with the nitrous, 300 hp would be attainable, without it, its highly unlikely. I'd build up the existing head and swap in some hc pistons. All the bolt ons, and an lsd would be good things to have. Play with the fuel, timing, and spark to get the best tuning gains out of it. A MSD and a SAFC-II would be good things to purchase.

Jim wolf technologies sales an aftermarket highflow fuel rail. To many peoples surprize there is actually a pretty good after market support for the ka family. You just have to be patient in your looking.

I wouldn't go with NOS brand. Mainly because of there direct port nozzle design. The fuel and air meet in a y design, this y design has been known to cause nitrous pops, which can be extremely deadly to an engine. In my opinion there is no better kit than the NX kit (Nitrous Works), their nozzle meet in a V which promotes better atomization of the nitrous and fuel. Just my .02 cents. Either way you decide to go your gonna love the throttle response and killer torque:ylsuper .
