working HUD with an SR20 ?

my hud is broken ( big suprise ) but i really like it as an option on my coupe. is there any way to make this work with an SR20 ? or should just get get an analog setup. is there a write up on how to fix the HUD ? ? ? or is it easier to just find another working cluster ?

i don't know the answer but this might work.

the hud has a switch you can change from mph to kph (not like the analog where you need to swap a resistor).

and if you can get the hud to work by itself. by tring this

A HUD will work just fine with a sr20 as long as its from a Dual Cam engine. I have one in my car and it works fine.

is there any way to dicypher if the cluster is a SOHC or Dual overhead cam ?

did the SE model coupes come with a SOHC ??

im kinda a noob at knowing trim level options, but im learning. haha just trying to get my broken HUD to work in my coupe with the SR20 thats in it...the heads up display is a sweet *** option, idk why people would want to not utilize it

89-90 cars were sohc. 91-94 were dohc. I don't know what year your car is. As for determining by looking at the cluster I don't know.

my hud works with my red top it plugs right in prefect. i also heard as long its a dohc it'll work
