I am planing on getting my 240sx soon since my neon died a few days ago. Now i want to eventually do a sr20det swap but it probably wont be til next winter. I dont exactly have the time and money this summer to do it, and i want to drive it for awhile and become one with the car before i swap it if u get what i mean. Beside my system i do want to toss some money into it now. What could i do to my KA24 that would be worth getting for the switch? Could i get an apexi n1 now for it? intake? basically i want to know what i could by for this engine that will beable to be used on the sr20det. thanks

ok.. is that it for the engine though? the greddy intercooler for a sr20det wont fit the KA would it? or what about an intake?

the KA is not a turbo engine.....therefor would not use an intercooler....

intake is not interchangeable...

basically nothing on the 'motor' is interchangable.....short shifters fit both transmission's....anything from the catback fits both applications.....and anything non motor....

im sure you can toss enough money into suspension, brakes, wheels and tires, and exhuast to keep ya broke for awhile.

Look at my list. I KNOW you can. (and I'm still not done with the suspension! Damn SCCA and their rules)

You will be happy with your 240 when you get it. I have a 93 240sx and love it. I am gettin the sr20det for x-mas and cant wait. You should also do alot of research on the sr20 before you purchase it just to know what you are goin to be dealin with.

honestly..dude, don't touch the ka if ur gonna do the sr20 swap. like jessie said, do the suspension, brakes, possibly exterior stuff if ur doing body kit, etc. if ur not into that stuff, then i'd do stiffer bars, bushings, you know suspension stuff. i drove around with my ka24 stock for 2 yrs.

I did have these on my ka24 for a couple of months before the sr20... Zex Nitrous Kit (if u really wanted to w/sr20) INjen intake (u can switch the filter over to sr20) Apexi N1 (will work with sr20, any exhaust)DO NOT GET A CLUTCH!!!!!~Scott
