Well, I looked through this section, and I figured its about time this happens. Within the next few weeks (may extend to about 2 months) I am going to be aiming at redoing the interior of my car. Top to bottom (well...excluding the seats). I'm going to track the work here, and use it as a platform to show other people how do to certain things. There will be ALOT of work on this; I've already did the center console (I have to REDO it thanks to my roommate) and I will have pictures up in a couple of days. This includes redoing headliners; painting various parts of the trim, adding fun pieces and parts (kill switches, cheapo sleepy eye conversion, hidden aux. switches for whatever), sound system (including a overkill 6 sub amp for the back and how to make the box...maybe). I know that some people probably know how to do it; but there are alot of people who don't, and we should try to share this knowledge for the betterment of our club. Anyways... I'm tired from a 12 hour shift of work... so I'm sleeping now, but if you have any ideas or things you would like to see installed; lemme know through email or this thread.~Nick

yea, this should be started up and pictures given in a couple of weeks. I got side tracked with a 91 front bumper for my '90, and I am currently stripping off all the paint and fixing it up. I'll make a good effort to post pics of the interior as is tommorrow.

And please post your pics of that enclosure. My buddies and I are planning a full trunk make over in fiberglass w/ sub for a 1st gen Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo come this Jan.~Nick

Well, good luck. For the help on trimmings, try Auveco. They have such a neat line of fasteners, nuts, etc.

I just recently put a lot of work in on mine. Well worth it tho'. Makes it feel like a brand new car. I did all the work myself and bought everything used, either online, the local classifieds, and the junkyard. Here are some pics let me know what you think,

First I redid the carpeting. It was nice going from light gray to almost black. The 13 yr old carpet was lind of smelly too. I didn't realize it 'til I switched 'em.

Next, I removed the unsightly "vert" seatbelt pillars, bought some used coupe door panels and reupholstered them and the glove box with red vinyl.

Then there's the stereo; 2 x 6.5" CDT components up front and crammed in the trunk? 3 amps pushing well over 1000 watts rms, 2 x active crossovers, 2 x passive crossovers and 2 x 10" subwoofers in custom hand-made fiberglass pods. A lot of work but well worth it. It's loud and tight. One of the best sounding car stereos I've ever heard and I've heard a lot. Not bad for a convertible

Now I'm moving on to the exterior. I just put new wheels and tires on it. It desperately needs a drop so that's probably next. Ultimately, I hope one day soon to add a Sylvia front with a sweet bodykit and paint the whole thing some custom color like midnite blue or dark teal or something. Well, what do you all thuink? God I love my S13

I hit a snag; well kinda...

I recently decided to go back to school; which has sucked all my funds into college and all that good stuff. It also caused me to quit my job at Sony Online and go work at a 7-11...

But I am not giving up.

This weekend I will be stopping by a fabrics store and home depo.

I am picking up a few things:

Dove white Vinyl for the center console arm rest, the glove box and the doors

And a BIG SHEET of MDF to make the base platform for my trunk, as well as a few hinges and some other things.

Um... here is a crap shot of my current interior, and I will do a step by step this weekend of what I do.

I also put this all on hold because I was selling my car for 3500, but after tuning her up and showing her to people, I fell in love with the car again, so its off the market lols.
