Car:1990 240sx Hatch (Red/ Maroon)Wheels:Work Emotion XD-9 (White)Ill be placing my order for these wheels soon but just wanted to make sure what were the best sizing options before i ordered them. Personally i was planning 17x9.5 in the rear with a +17 offset. adrians_s13 has already confirmed to me that the rears will fit with no problem because one of his buddies has them on a s13 [zerothread?id=336531] he did say however that the fronts will rub coils if i do get them the same size as the rears[17x9.5+17] he said i need spacers to make sure they dont rub. So what recommendations do you guys have for the front.

Here are my options in 17 inch which is what im going for:17x9.5 that come in offsets of: +17,28,38,4417x8.5 that come in offsets of: +25,32,4217x7.5 that come in offsets of: +32,42,5517x7.0 that come in offsets of: +42,47,53

Do keep in mind that im going for an agressive look. Im also going to get Greddy Coils. I just want a size that will for sure clear and no rub anything once installed. Personally i was thinking if a 17x8.5 with an offset of +25 for the front because i still want a lip on the wheel. If i have to space it out with a spacer its ok. AS LONG AS IT DOSENT RUB! If there is anyway you can help i really appreciate it. Thanx

17x9.5 +17 would give you 138.6mm of rim from the hub surface to the inside edge of the wheel.

17x8.5 +25 would give you 133.8mm of rim from the hub surface to the inside edge of the wheel.

Therefore you would have 4.2mm more coilover clearance with the 8.5 +25s than with the 9.5 +17s

In your other post adrian said his friend used 3mm spacers for the front with the 9.5. So with 4.2mm more clearance I think you'll be alright without spacers. I wonder how much camber that guy runs with the 9.5s though...

Thanxs Datsun, you are the only one who has gave me some feedback on my Q so far so i guess im going to go with the 17x8.5 +25 offset up front and if i need to make it flush ill just pull it out a bit more w a spacer later on, and camber wise ill play around with what i got from the coils i get. ill post the setup and pics once i get it all done.

lol... don't be weak... get the 9.5's +17s up front, LOL.

save yourself the hassle of having to replace 2 tires when all you need to do is rotate them

Adrian: what kind of effect does that have; putting your front wheels out a little wider than the backs? I know it would just be 4mm or so, but will it change the way the car turns in, or comes out of a corner any?

This is what I did, same size all the way around. I have megan street coils and the fitment in the front is perfect, I did pull the front fenders more then i wanted but its fine i for now. i cant stick my index finger inbetween the coil and the wheel. Idk about greddy coils though

There 17x9.5's 17mm offset all the way around. I'm still 4 lug, but would get rid of these and get some cst's in a heartbeat!

hopefully my 17x9 +17's will look similar with a stock fender(no roll). I guess I won't be dissapointed anyways for 350 bucks.

zerothread?id=340040 Different brand/style of wheel of course.

gotta wait until my loan for my house goes through. Can't make any sizeable expenditures yet...such as $500 5 lug hubs and prolly another $400+ for tires...but I'll have pics in 30 days hopefully.
