the headbolt thing reminded me about my turbo elbow i bought recently. It arrived quickly, and i was very pleased about that, but it didn't look the same as what they posted in the auction So i got out my tape measure and checked mine, i think it was barely 2 1/2" inner diameter. It comes no where close to the "3" DIAMETER" that they list in the auction, inside or out. The seperate wastegate port is also changed and the tube is half as long.instead of connecting right before the bottom flange, it connects back in probably 2 inches above, and on mine, they didn't cut the hole large enough so there's a wall of metal 1/4-1/2cm tall at the bottom of the hole - perfect for creating turbulance.

I did contact them about it, and they told me that they would refund my money if i sent it back. I asked about getting the correct part, as advertised, and they said they had to make changes to make it work on KA-T applications, and that a 3" is no longer in production and there is no ETA on the start of production for one. I had this conversation with them probably 2 weeks ago, and low and behold, they're still advertising 3" and still using pictures of the old design.

I'm not saying don't get it, as i'm still trying to decide whether or not to send it back. Surely it is still better than the stock elbow, especially after taking a dremel to the lower side of the wastegate port to get rid of the wall, and for half the cost of a Trust elbow... Just don't expect to get what is advertised if you do decide to get one.

here is what i recieved (vs what they offer in the backround)you'll also notice in the top picture that its actually flared out a good amount right above the flange, meaning the actual piping is even narrower than the measurement in the picture.

I just used SR dp and o2 housing (ProjectSilvia 3"). It does hit the frame rail a bit sometimes. I just ignore it.

I don't know yet. I haven't had it on yet, but I test fitted it and I don't see it having any clearance issues. I'll know in a month or so...

I bought some Ebay brand that was the greddy style. It worked really well and looked as advertised. I don't see any for sale on Ebay now, but it's the same seller that sells the resonated test pipes; if they were contacted they may be able to hook you up.
