Well guys - As you have read I have had an SR20DET for sometime now and just now able to get it to turn over.

Now the problem persists that it is not getting fuel. I have some mkIV injectors sitting at the shop - That I know have been flow tested and cleaned. Should I swap these in? Right now it is more so that I only want to get the car cranking and sputtering at least.

I pulled the first plug to see if any gas was upon it - But no scent to be found.

I know the fuel filter is getting fuel from pump - And that it is passing it. So are there any other problems with fuel in a newly swapped car?

Also - FPR has its vacuum line to it.

I checked all the plugs for injectors and they are all in.

Also - while it is on my mind - I am not 100 percent sure that the supra injectors I have are MKIV, BUT. Will they be a direct plug in if I decide to remove the intake mani and pull the fuel rail?

Anyway - If anyone has any ideas with getting fuel to the motor - let me know!

ThanksCRyan

Are the fuel lines that connect to the fuel rail and the FPR hooked up correctly?

I connected my wrong at first and got ZERO fuel, then switched the lines and the car turned over.

well here is the ordeal - yes the lines were backwards so now they are straight. I was wondering seeing as the gas being fed to the motor is about 10 months old- and 87 - could that be the problem?

So yeah. Five o'clock and I am just now leaving the shop. Here is te details and what exactly the car is doing.

The engine is getting spark, air, and now fresh fuel all the way to the rail.

The starter is able to turn engine over but no sign of combustion in any chamber.

I attempted spraying carb cleaner trough throttle body and did not do anything.

Sometimes the starter will only engage, not actually turn engine over. I have to flicker it a couple of times before it actually turns flywheel.

I syphoned all old gas and put about a 1/4 tank of fresh chevron 93.

I have not messed with timing at all besides loosening bolts on cam angle sensor enough to move it up or down.

That is all I can give you to the best of my knowledge.

So any help would be AMAZING right now. Help a boy fulfill his dream.

Alright guys, I went by the car last night and checked for any plugs off the ecu I could have missed...I found one that looked to be flat with 8 to 10 pins in it and foam wrapped around it...could this has been one I missed? I tried cranking it but to attempting to combust anything...

So does anyone else have anything? If you read 2 posts or so up that is what the car is doing....

Oh yeah- one other thing. So you know the 2 blue relays under the dash near the ecu? There is a third one down in the area, but it is not connected to the engine harness; Could this play a roll in my car not cranking?

Alright guys after doing research til three this morning I have a few possibilties of what could be going on. I would like to hear some opinions so I can rule any of them out or better check a certain area. Here is what I have got.

If the MAF is dirty, it could cause the fuel injectors not to work properly. I rule this out because I unplugged it to see if it would run in limp mode to come empty handed.

I noticed the nut on my alternator was not fully secured, and I have read where this has caused troubles.

I have not completely tightened the bolt that runs through the ecu harness plug. Apparently it acts as a ground that could cause problems.

When I go to my car at one I will check the return side fuel line to see if it built up pressure. If nothing comes out that will lead me to assume the fuel rail has something in the way.

Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated-thanksCRyan

Well tightened down the ecu plug and still nothing. Talking back and forth with yury with wiring specialties now- let me say i am very impressed with the customer service with wiring specialties. Being able to talk direct to him really makes me glad I sent my stuff to them.
