Well I just put on my Ksports today, yes I said Ksports. Now I get to try the Megan Ruca's, or my alignment tommorrow will help. I've ridden on D2(same thing, I know) and KTS, and the Ksports feel way more like the KTS. The D2's I rode on were poo compared to these. Meh

Will an alignment help this??????

Are the KSports like KTS? I have KSport now and do not much like the ride on them, they are "Bouncy" In my opinion. Great Coilovers all around but just looking to change them, I was going to think STANCE or KTS (which my friend swears by) and couldn't much decide. So if the KSposts ride similar to KTS, I might just stick with my original STANCE choice. Looks very Clean though!! Get 'er aligned and you're all set.

when you get it aligned, dont be surprised if they say your toe cannot be brought back to stock too. i needed adjustable toe control arms as well.

Enough toe out to eat up your tires with a quickness. Wrong toe setting is worse than neg. camber.

Thanks, I've heard toe is worse. The Ksports don't ride just like the KTS, I just said they ride more like them than the D2's, which are suppose to be the same as Ksport. They are way better than the D2's.

I agree. Get some toe arms before you throw those RUCAS on. Toe out drives like crap too, especially in the turns

I have KTS on my s13 and I think it's bumpy...too bumpy for my comfort anyways. If your like me, you probably won't be satisfied with any coilovers unless they are individually adjustable for low compression, high compression, and rebound. Or you could just try lowering the spring rates...

BTW Kenny, my s13 didn't need toe arms after I lowered it. But I had a good alignment man line it up for me too. If your mechanic can't line it up with typical methods of alignment, ask him if he played with the inner mounts on the lower control arm. That's what my guy did....and I've had no wear problems with -1.5 camber and around 1/16 toe in on the rear.

Experience with this setup: the limit of adhesion is easily predictable, mid corner the car will rotate with a lift of the throttle. I feel a little understeer in tight low speed turns, but that may be worked out when I get sway bars. Keep in mind my car is an all stock ka24e with no chassis mods other than KTS coilovers and SPL rucas. My coilover settings are 8 up front and 10 on the rear stiffness, but I'm sure that won't matter as Ksports are probably valved differently...hope this helps

eh...forgot to add I have an open diff...

I finally got an alignment. The final numbers were:

F Left------------------F Right-1.3* camber-------_-1.4* camber.11* toe---------------.11* toe

R Left------------------R Right-2.2* camber------_-2.5* camber.11* toe--------------.11* toe

I obviously need to fix the rear camber. I was surprised that the toe is fine. I was expecting alot worse. I think I'm going to try the Whiteline Urethane Camber Bushings instead of RUCAs because you can't have all metal bushings in STS class Autocross. They give up to an extra +1.5*. Does anyone have experience with these?

Actually, around -2* looks fine for an autox/daily driver. Zero your rear toe though.

.11* of toe is actually what Nissan considers perfect. I got it done at the Auto Hobby Shop on my base. Basically it's 10 bays with 3 lifts and an alignment rack. You pay by the hour to use the bays, racks, and tools and they do alignments. Anyway, I got to watch him do it up close and the software they use has the factory specs for every car. It showed .11* as OEM perfect. It cost $48 dollars. He also adjusted the front camber by using the slotted top hole on the spindle mount of my coilovers, which he didn't have to since it's not a factory adjustment, so I got hooked up.

-2* might be good for autocross, but I want closer to -1.5. My tires are only 160 treadwear, so I want them to last as long as possible.

That link doesn't work, but I'm gonna search for them.

Ah freshal.. link is banned..see if this link works to other links..http://www.importfanatix.com/F...t=spc0 toe is better though overall especially for low tread ratings.
