wow so i just went out in the rain to walmart, and theres this curve before u get there, i pulled the e-brake to try and drift around it but since it was so wet i just spun around, i actually think i did like a... 450? lol it was fun, just a little scary cuz at the same time it was spinning and slid backwards.

Why would you need the ebrake, especially when it's wet?

Keep it in 2nd, feint and power over.

Or give the clutch a nice little kick.

But srsly...why would you even want to put yourself in that situation?

wow this is exactly the kinda s*** that will give the 240 community a bad rep if it hasn't already. you could have hit a another car or person. I'm up for have some fun but do it in an empty parking lot or even better at a track.

Bro youve been watching to much tokyo drift! You pulled the e brake....in the rain....while turning a corner...... and you spun out. Much worse is you did it on a public road infront of walmart where theres always old a** people buying depends and s*** till the weee hours of the morning. Practice in big big empty lots with as few curbs and parking blocks as possible untill you really have a feel for your car and how it reacts. if i remember right you just got your s14. My advice is to get used to her before you slam her into a curb. Track time is ideal but we dont all have access so that i understand.

it's not even fun to do try and drift in the rain. yeah i like to spin my tires through 3rd no problem, but drifting a turn in the rain is just dangerous imo i feel like i have no control and it slides too easily

i see it as safer personally. it dosent require as much speed or reving the engine near as hard to get side ways and you have just as much control as you do on dry ground just takes practice to get use to .

Just like going from a highway paved road to a gravel road. the gravel road is just as safe as the highway you just have to adjust your driving method a bit when your on it.

Flaming someone for drifting in a GIANT EMPTY parking lot at night. HAHA I <3 Nico Hypocrites.

But really, e-brake in the rain?!?! Common sense NaH, just roll on the power and it will kick out. Hell if you have enough room do a little Scandinavian Flick to get it to slide, its just so easy in the rain. That's how I learned to drift (as well as most of us on here)

i f*** around in empty lots all the time, but theres a difference from practicing in an empty lot, and just deciding to rip your ebrake around a curve in the rain.

he didnt say he was in a giant empty parking lot, he said he was goin around a curve on his way to walmart in the rain, thats prolly why people were flaming him

I got 2 in black. lol.

I don't know why you guys are worried about the rep of the 240 community. It's a 4 cylinder with (most likely) a fart cannon.

The rep is bad.
