Sup VWluv. What a coinky-dink, my last car ( which I freakin miss ) was a 2000 Golf 1.8t. VW's will definately have a spot in my car soul. And I also live in Baltimore =) .

Question, what width are those wheels posted? I might just be reading the information wrong, but it doesn't seem to be listed. At the top they refer to " New 17x8 and 17x9" wheels, are those the new s13 wheels?

Wuss: I was looking at a 1.8t or a vr6 but I really wanted something with both rwd and turbo and my 240 is quite a step up from my 1970 bug.

did you install the swap yourself? What did you do about the wiring? I'm ordering my motor in 2 weeks and was contemplating doing the install myself.

I'm not to worried about the actual install, and the wiring I can outsource to someone else, but the main concern is that this is my daily driver, and I can't have that much downtime to have the motor in the car, up and running.

Good to know theres a local yokel running around that's already been through the whole process.

I wanted to do the swap myself and save some money but living in an appartment I did not have any where to do it so I bought a car with it installed. Heavy Throttle did the install so I know it was done right. If you do the install yourself let me know and I can bring my car over as a guide of where everything goes.

BTW would these clear the Z32 (or even the skyline gts-t) calipers? I know my friend had to buy spacers so his wheels would clear:(.

Since they just came out in the last two weeks I cant find anywhere on the net that has them for sale so I have no idea what the price is. I thought the other sizes were around $220 or so but I could be wrong.

Well hopefully I will be able to tell everyone if they clear Z32 brakes since I just bought a set of 26mm ones off ebay. I'm pretty happy to get the front calipers for $36. Of course I dont have the money for the wheels yet and I have heard that my stock ones should clear the 26mm brakes.
