the tc3 is just a regular electric awd touring car. just about as expensive as anything else really. radios and batteries and chargers are wahts expensive. decent kits are 2-3 hundred, radio 1-2 hundred, batteries and charger 150 at least. btw you can use any awd touring car to drift with, just need pvc or abs tires

July 2004 issue of Super Street reviewed an RC drift car...

For a ghetto setup just take any RC car and put a few layers of that clear shiny packing tape around the drive wheels. Works great!

Hmmmmm, wonder if I could do the same to my real car....that would be pretty sweet. Plus you wouldn't wear out the tires, just the tape! I feel an experiment coming on!

Ebay..

I have one on the way. My buddy has one. It's fun as hell(until it runs out of batteries:()

You can get one completely ready to run, minus batteries for about $200.

And like was mentioned above, you can put pvc pipe as the tires(i've also heard that electrical tape works) and you can turn any ordinary rc car into a drift rc car. It also helps to have stiffer springs, mainly in the rear.

Your local hobby shop is probably the best place to go for a new one. Be prepared to spend between $300 and $500 depending on how serious you get. And when the parts start breaking, don't think it'll be cheap just because it's a little toy car. That stuff adds up fast. It's quite an expensive hobby, if you ask me.
