Anyone else having this problem?

2009 M35, grey interior. No problems, but now the wood veneer trim on both rear doors and the front-passenger door are coming off.

Car is normally parked in the shade, but over the weekend was in the sun. It's over 100 here in Austin. I'm assuming this is covered under warranty, but was wondering if anyone in other hot climates was having this problem?

Had an 06 M35 for 4 years and 140,000 miles. Wood trim was fine. Bought a used 09 M35 in June and wood trim on both rear doors came loose within 2 weeks. Was quickly taken care of under warranty. Was told by the dealer this is a common problem in the southern states due to high humidity. Based on the previous post I am not so sure the dealer is correct about location being the cause of the problem as I am in VA and there is plenty of humidity here. Based on my dealer's theory, infiniti_lineup should have had the same problem as that car is in FL. Whatever the cause, it seems to be fairly common and covered under warranty.

Having the same issue with a '09 M35 in Massachusetts. I've had good results with a windshield shade and leaving the sunroof tilted open. The summer's been hotter than usual, but not Florida hot.

I started a thread about this a few months ago with my 2009 M35. The dealer said it was an issue with the 2009's (glue was poor) and replaced all 4 promptly. It only took about an hour.

Had it happen to my '09, got it replaced at the dealership. Done in 2 hours.

I have had this problem on the Driver door and the Passenger door. Now the Passenger rear is beginning to peel. They will take care of it at my next service which will be next week. Both of the doors that have been fixed appeared to have brand new inserts installed not simply re-gluing the original panel.

I have a 2008 M. My driver side and passenger side trim peeled last week. I had it repaired under warranty.

I had the same problem in my 08 M35x. Replaced all veneer under warranty (passenger door twice although I think the first replacement was done poorly on that door). I was told that there was a problem with the glue and that this was a common problem. it took well over a month to obtain the matching veneer replacement parts.

I've had the veneer fall off on all 4 doors on my 2007 m35x. You think that the 2008's on would be fine. I'm in Boston and the issue is definitely heat related. I put mine back on myself.

I have an appointment to get it replaced next week. Dealer said that it's known issue, effecting the FX as well. They'll replace the whole trim on all 4 doors even though the drivers door isn't failing yet. They said "once it starts on one door they'll replace all 4 since it's just a matter of time".

Don't konw the details, but obviously a bad batch or specs on the glue....

My 2008 M35 has had to have all four doors replaced and it took 3 dealer visits to accomplish it because it happened at different times. It was covered under the warranty. Now it is starting over again on the passager side. It upsets me to think that my dealer didn't replace all 4 the first time. And what happens after the warranty expires!!

I also have a 2008 m35 and the passenger side wood trim peeled off @ 10k mark, then around 25k the driver's side started to show signs of bubbling.

Was repaired under warranty.

Infiniti sent out letters to extend warranty on this particular issue. Dont remember exact numbers, will look for it later and let you know
