Man.... I orta pose like that in front of my QX4.99QX4 wrote:There is a website that can "dip" the pieces...but that requires you driving around with out a dash piece for however long it takes to send it there, for them to do whatever they do to it, and for them to send it back. I can't remember the website though so that doesn't help much...but that's all i could think of.

Damn! Where were the subs that look like you when I was in HS?
I got gipped on that in life.
werd.... we had this crazy ***** that wouldn't let me get a drink of water, and some pole smoker who looked like Joe Camel.SnowSurfLax wrote:99QX4 - you're a substitute teacher?!

Piss on all of that nice lookin sh*t. What you need to do is what I did on my R50; just take the dash off whenever you get a new sticker you like & stick it on there & eventually it will be completely covered. You can even do the trim around the guages. Plus it looks all artsie-fartsie, like a nice collague in your car...$3k_short wrote: Does anyone know what it would take to convert from wood to black
So you are saying that i couldnt swap any of the interior panels with SE ones or that I could swap most but the panel around my drive selector switch wouldnt fit right? I have actually never seen my new car in person as I am still deployed so I really dont know.KoukiS14 wrote:You could easily swap the pieces with one with black... EXCEPT... I'm assuming that the LE you have has all-mode 4wd, right? I don't think a Pathfinder was offered (at least here) with both all mode 4wd and no wood grain.
No sh*t you're deployed? I hope all goes well & you make it back alright.$3k_short wrote:

I just spoke with them and they said they only had flat available and that it wouldnt cover up all the wood trim in mine? BTW, your interior is VERY nice, i hope to make mine very similar once i figure out the best way.Axelpkt wrote:I got a kit from NYC dashes, kinda pissed that they came out with molded ones a month after I got mine.
I tried back in 2001 (about 5 or so months before 9/11) but was rejected about 3 weeks before basic training due to a stigmatism in my left eye. The doctor who evaluated me said that the military was not willing to take the chance of me going in then getting full blown glaukoma (spelling?) & then the goverment paying me disability the rest of my life. But my best friend went into the Marines & is on his 5th tour over there (actually 1 tour in Afghanistan, 1 tour in Pakistan & now his 3rd in Irag).$3k_short wrote:sounds interesting but if you would like I will shell out a list of better options for you that would be much more unique and fun to play with or you could go to Iraq and play with them yourself
Only if you can find one with all-mode, but I think anything with that had wood grain.$3k_short wrote:

And if anyone has a link to any of these places that "dip" let me know.
