Has anyone tried any of the aftermarket wood dash kits for the current gen M? What did you think of the quality/match?

I've just bought a non-returnable kit and was dissappointed that it did not match up well with the Infiniti's unique matte wood.

Those are the breaks and I am willing to try again. I just needed to be guided in the right direction.

Been there...done that.

I won't be doing the dash kit thing just yet. Seems the kits may come from a single source.

I am also interested in replacing the wood in my 2006 M 35.Everything I see offers supplements to the existing. Anyone replaced all of it with a higher quality product?

Be careful when dealing w/Burtman. What you see from his supplier B & D, is not necessarily what Burtman gives you. The finish is also not perfect-regardless of what Burtman says.

I like it myself, but there are so many auto perfectionists that would be dissatisfied. The above link shows in living color what the pieces look like. The center stack piece, which I paid about $30 extra for is the least perfect piece (as Burtman warned me), but I needed it to finish the project.
