So how is Plano doing? I spent many years in Garland and Dallas.

Personally, I think they are unattractive. I like brushed aluminum or carbon fiber. That's just my opinion, so don't base you choice on my likes. If you like it, and want it, then get it. I had Louis Vuitton trim in my Maxima. My wife had an old purse that she had ripped, so instead of her throwing it out, I used the material to trim some parts. It looked different than any other Maxima out there, that's for sure. Most people thought it was gay looking, but I liked it. It matched my luggage, wallet and keychain.

I loe the bruhed alu. Never been a big fan of the wood. I had it on the Saab and I was thinking to do something with it. It's too cold for me.

Just me maybe.

I love the idea of trimming out stuff in the brand name fabric. I am in Saudi right now and can buy bolts of what ever fabric i want. I actually plan on making a black LV shifterboot and really want to do my interior with black crushed velvet or microfiber with red stitching. Ill let yall know how much i paid here for the fabric and if anyone is interested i can always bring some more back. You can get anything knock off over here.

I went shopping for wood when I got my G. We searched the entire lot, no wood. Dejectedly, I agreed to look at the numbers for the "other" interior and walked into the showroom. There she was, all shiny with rosewood and wheat leather. She came home with me that day. One good point is that my dog, who rides in the front seat with her paws on the dash, has never scratched the wood. I got wood.

I got my spoiler from these guys for under $200 and it was color matched. So maybe you can find a deal on the dash kits...http://www.wooddashexperts.com/customer/home.php

WOW! I would love to see some close up pics of a G35 coupe with the Japanese cherry wood kit!

Since I have never done a wood kit before I am going to assume you glue these pieces into place?

They usually come with 3M tape.

he he he... I have the wood trim... and I too let my dog in the front seat... she will jump on my lap if I don't stop her... I try to retain her to the back now as she is a 5 month boxer/staff mix... Or my other car
