On a somewhat related topic, I've always wondered what good/clean numbers say about the overall health of the motor?
Never really doubted the car, although it did stall twice yesterday after semi-hard braking.... *shrug*
But I would think, that a clean run on the smog test will indicate, that most sensors are up to par, doing their job, and the motor is relatively clean inside (valves etc....)

I was thinking there might be one that was bad/going bad because of the intermittent vibration whthin the cabin. But, since the front upper links are so badly worn, I'm still betting, its the transmission/engine mounts first. It does happen at about 1500~2100 rpm. Or could even be the old front tires put on the car.
