I am SO damn stoked. I just figured out a way (with NICOmom's help) to relocate the seat belts on my 'vert so I can chop off that damn door pillar and use coupe door panels!!!!

All that extra seatbelt mechanism in the doors weighs approx 30 lbs per door, plus all the bracing for the door pillar weighs (I'm guessing) another 10 lbs. The 'vert door panels weigh almost TWICE what the coupe panels weigh!!! This'll be a 75+ pound weight reduction when it's finished!

<----- Doing the happy dance!!!

I took pics, I'll post up tonight or tomorrow.

New seats in, carpet laid...

Running stereo cables and installing new speakers....

Lopping off the door pillar later tonight.

Got the seatbelts hidden INSIDE the rear panels... Looks better than factory!

Bart, you still need a Nissan pillar emblem?
