Hello, Ive finally dragged my problem here, hoping the experts can provide a few keys or solutions:
1989 240SX 275,000KM, Standard trans. Tried starting my car after a month of sitting. Cranks and cranks with no sign of any combution taking place. -checked ignition (plugs are firing a nice blue spark)-checked intake (its a custom short ram intake, idle control and MAFS connected tight, no obstructions)-checked fuel (pump turns on and primes upon turning ignition)-battery fully re-charged each time prior to attempting starting.
I have 3 possibilities:-fuel has gone bad over the winter month of febuary.-fuel pump is running but not supplying ample pressure.-i may have ruined something by filling the spark plug holes with combustion camber cleaner? (chamber was cranked a few times and dry before starting)
.......shall I pull a fuel line to see if the pump is pressurizing the system?
My appreciation in advance guys.
