WONT STAY CRANKED

This has probably been asked b4 but i cant find the solution. Well i brought this RB20 powered 240 off this guy for 2500 bucks.. the car cranks and runs at idle but the second you try to give it gas it dies on you..

I need help ASAP, gotta get this project running!!!!

unplug the maf and see if it runs...if it does then its either an intake leak or a bad maf.

Are you sure about that solution? Sounds like the best one i heard yet! well im not around the car and cant wait to get back to it! i gotta test it out!

there's never one sure solution, that's why it's call "testing" it.

check your fuel pressure, where it's sitting at?

really im just tryn to avoid expensive repairs, i beleive its something simple and hoping thats all it is.. ya kno..

The reason you unplug the maf is to put the car into limp mode. It will run off a preprogramed map off the ecu. You won't be able to rev it out past 2500 but the car should start up and idle. If it still doesn't then there is something else wrong.
