did you hook up all the starter wires? Big one for + and one little bitty black one? Also did you ground the motor?

You need to do a thorough run down of all of the electronics such as even listening for the fuel pump to prime when key is turned to on. Make sure you have current going to the starter and also do all or any of your accesories work? Check all of your engine/chasis grounds. What ignition are you running. Did you scrap the Ka for the sr set up? What ecu? Is your nuetral swith on the transmission working properly. If your depressing your clutch pedal but the sensor isn't getting the signal your car wont start. You need to run down the list one by one. Its electrical so you'll find it. Good luck and keep us posted.

Most likely it's your alternator 75A fuse by your battery. Take it out and inspect it carefully.

you don't actuially connect the starter ground to anything. It grounds to the block via the starter housing via a very hard to see metal clip and wire on the block side of the starter.

If you have the power hooked to the bigger outter terminal and the small black wire hooked up, the starter should work.

Or is the car not firing?

all better bought a hot rod multi meter today and found that my battery ground was good enough for accesories but the extra load of trying to start it made it wig out so i recleaned the groun area and it fired up 1st try beats *** on the ka24e that was in there im sure it still needs some tweeking but FINALLY

i had a water leak and a p/s coupler loose but its all better and it made its 1st runs around town AOK not getting hot or anything but i do have a Q though i have a fmic and a hsk bov vented to the atmosphere and it dies at almost every light ive read this is a issue unless i re route it pre the mas sensor and vent it into the system is there a cure other than that ???

which HKS BOV? the older sequential BOV, the newer SSQV, or the Racing Blowoff valve Type II?

Adjust the spring to be closed just before the motor reaches idle.
