Wont Start, Think its the timming

Hey, i just recently just had to pull the distributor out on my 95 KA24DE and i think that when i put it back in i might have not placed it back exactly. I have tried to bring my engine to TDC and re-adjusted the distributor back to where i think it should be wich would be just after firing on spark plug one. I think that would put me at 20 BTDC but im not sure. Anwyay, now my car wont start, i have gotten it to almost act like it was going to start at one point playing with it but still no luck. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be going on. Could there be a code that was thrown thats preventing it from starting??
