i have an 05 2.5s and i washed it yesterday and it was running fine and i put it in my guarge and this morning when i went to start it, it wouldnt turn over. So i gave it alittle gas and it started up but then i looked back and saw smoke coming from the back. I turned it off and it smelt like gas and oil mixed kind of. I looked on the site and ive seen some things about crankshaft sensor and i was wondering if that was it. Help me out please

Im having the same problem. Drove the car home it was fine, woke up started it and same issue. Horrible idle at first, once i gave it gas it jumped up in rpms and then the idle was fine. The issue then was it was in safe mode and wouldnt rev above 2500. I turned the car off and turned it right back on and it started fine. Waited 5 minutes, started and the same problem.

I had a similar issue on my '02 Sentra Spec-V and it was the mass airflow sensor. If it's not that it might be the throttle positioning sensor but it's most likely the MAF.
