wont start

i bought a 90 240sx hatch. the car ran fine for a while then it just took a ****. for a while i had to pump the gas to get it to crank, then it eventually just stopped all together. the only it will even try to crank is by starter fluid. i've through three sets of injectors just maknig sure it wasnt them. brand new fuel filter, there is fuel at the rail so the pump is doing its job. there isnt any fuel going into the engine. we clamped a pair of vice grips on the return line and the car wanted to start but only with the throttle wide open. we tested the injector pulse and there didnt seem to be any volts goin through assuming we did it right. somebody help plz. new plugs and wires by the way

probably an issue with the ecu/wiring if the injectors aren't getting the signal. check for codes? might be a bad sensor telling the ecu not to fire.
