wont rev past 2k

ok so i swaped a ca18det into my s12 and i wired in a z32 maf and the hw setting it 2in 7out and it wont rev past 2k any1 have any idea what wrong?

possibly no air flow signal getting to the computer. Did the motor run before the AFM swap.

i did get the motor with a maf..so i started it without a maf and it wouldnt rev past 2k..and now i put the z32 maf and it still wont rev past 2k

that should tell you the answer. It runs the same without the MAF as it does with, likely no signal to the computer. Check the wiring.
