wont go in reverse

This has only happened to me a couple times. I was leaving my house one day and i tried to put it in reverse but it wouldnt go in. But after a while it will go in all of a sudden... what could this be? should i change my transmission fluid?

If you haven't changed the fluid then I would suggest it.

Typically I've found this is a normal issue with Nissan gearboxes. Just let out the clutch a slight bit while pushing the shifter into reverse lightly and it will go right in.
