I've never owned a black car and now have a 2009 G37X Black Obsidian. I've come to realize in the month that I've owned it that every blemish, scratch , speck of dirt is very visible. I want to keep the finish looking as good as possible but the winters here in upstate NY (near Syaracuse) are rough and I don't have the facilities to continually wash and wax the car during winter. I plan to clean the finish and give it a good coat of sealant then wax with these products I've ordered:
Chemical Guys citrus degreaser and shampooCobra Indigo Microfiber Polishing Cloth P21S Gloss-Enhancing Paintwork Cleanser Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint SealantP21S Concours-Look Carnauba Paste Wax Cobra Super Plush Deluxe
Have I made the right choices to keep the car protected through the winter months? I'm hoping the sealant will last until spring in the event the weather doesn't allow me to add another coat of wax 'til then.
Thanks in advance!
