Wondering about transmission options...

Hey guys I have a couple of question bout my car and about what u guys think. Ok so i've gotta 92 coupe with an auto.. well the transmission is fried. I'm thinkin about trying to tackle a rebuild on it but i got to wondering today about other options while keeping the automatic. I was wondering about using a 700r4 or maybe a 4l60e (considering i have one) but also maybe rebuilding the re4ro1a. I want tops 400hp so i dont know what kind of aftermarket besides ipt i would use for a "performance" rebuild on the re4. Any response short of telling me to put in a 5 speed is welcome. THX

Get AT Z32 TT transmission. Believe its been done a few times. Would have to search to find any writeups though, don't know of any off the top of my head.
