wondering about j30 brakes

seems to be a exact bolt on correct? talking about all 4 btw. and all i need is to buy the rotors and caliiper and redrill the caliiper right? but my main question is, can the stock e brake line go right into the j30?? im staying 4 lug btw. and this is my cheapest upgrade. thanks nico u guys always answer my dumbaasss questions.

I don't know anything about the rear. But the fronts are strait bolt on. You need to trim the dust cover for the rotor, and then you're done. And for 4 lug, you re-drill the ROTOR not the caliper.

aww dam my bad typo. and can i use a z32 brake booster for the j30 setup?

You dont have to use the z32 brake master cylinder, the stock bmc will be fine it only makes a difference if you go with the z32 brakes all the way around. I did the z32 swap all the way around and had a soft brake pedal so i went with the z32 bmc.

sorry for the noobness but bmc? i need a new brake booster and some guy offered a z32 one. and since its 20 why not. but all i know is what the brake booster is, dont have a clue what the thing that holds the liquid and all that s*** is called. sorry lol

Yeah the thing with the liquid is the brake master cylinder. That's what pushes the fluid to do the actual squeezing of the brakes. I'm pretty sure that you shouldn't use the z32 booster or MC unless you have z32 brakes. The booster multiplies the pressure of your foot on the pedal, and the MC changes the bias of front and rear brakes (and also pressure to a certain degree).

yeah guessed correct. well thanks for the input and makes sense. but im going to have j30 brakes. and this guy wants 20 for the brake booster ill use the stock mc. or should i try and get my hands on a j30 brake booster or jsut get a stock s13 brake booster? again thanks, nico never fails.

ok im only gettting the rear the j30 brake caliper and rotor. can i do this and it will be safe?

No prob. Use the stock s13 booster.
