I was checking my old nissan max for leaks by spraying starting fluid. I sprayed some in the air flow meter. I turned the car off and now it won't start. did I mess up my air flow meter? would a faulty mass air flow meter prevent it from starting? how could I check the meter? any ideas what the hell happen? PLEASE help!

Not good to spray anything in the MAF except for MAF cleaner. Not gonna say that's what killed it, but it definitely wasn't good for it. ECU throwing any codes?
