Ok a new problem with my Z popped up today. I left the Z sitting for about a week and went to start it today and it only sputters and chugs and will not start. Its almost like the car is flooded as it keeps trying, but only chugs. I've checked spark on all 6 coil packs and all injector connections look to be ok, might I be looking at a fuel pump problem?
I can faintly hear the pump cycle when I turn the key to ON like its pressurizing the fuel line, but the still no go. Could it be only supplying enough fuel to make the car sputter and not completely start? It had exhibited behavior similar to this earlier, but I simply floored the car while starting to start it when it acted up.
Any ideas where to start?
I have replaced plugs 500 miles ago.
Thanks!
Edit:
I was thinking it could also be either a vacuum or air intake problem, as I feel the car is seriously lacking power, my stock 240 beats the 300 by about 5 lengths 0-100. Could a EGR, MAF, AAC, or vacuum leak problem be causing this no start issue?
