89 240 sx won't start no spark

89 240 sx mt cranks good ,no spark changed distributor,checked power transistor ,has power to the coil,tach does not move when cranked.no codes on ecu. HELP

Belive it on not it was a bad ignition coil passed ohms test.Replaced it with a new one BANG it fired right up. Hope this might help someone
