Won't start,security issues?

I went to open the trunk, but when I pulled on the lever the alarm went off. I had no way to turn it off with out disconnecting the battery lucky it turned off by it self eventually. Its then when I tried to turn on the car but it wouldnt start. Later i found out the passanger door wouldn't unlock when i would unlock the driver side(I used to be able to be inside and unlock and lock the passenger side by doing it automatically from the driver side). So I reached over to unlock the passenger door manually, and when i open the door the alarm went off again. Could it be some security issue not letting the car start when the alarm went off, or is it two different issues?

Check your door switch, as well as your hood latch switch. Commonly failed items. I believe the factory alarm will not disarm unless all doors and hood/hatch are closed. They're easy to check with a meter. Simple open/closed switch.
