won't start .. got spark but no fuel...

ok here's the deal... i have a 96 nissan 240sx with a s13 blacktop.. i get the motor in and finish the wiring harness connect everything and goto start and al it does is crank.... so after checking everything for about 2 days i find out it does have spark but the injectors are not firing... there is fuel in the fuel rail but tested the wires on the injectors and the red one has power but the "signal" wires are dead i even checked with an ohm meter.. traced them back to the ecu and tested at the ecu.. still nothing... so i got a new computer still no fuel.. i hear the fuel pump cut on but thats it.. some one said if the CAS is bad then it won't allow the injectors to work??? well anyway i have a new CAS on the way just in case... anybody with any suggestions or answers to this problem.. i have just ran out of ideas... please help!!!!

is there a fuse for the injectors.. i have no clue... i went back and checked the three individual grounds that come out of the ecu that goto the injectors and they are all good grounds.... and all are plugged in and snapped in place... i am lost....

Have you checked if the fuel lines are on correctly? This was my problem I had the return line connected to the fuel inlet. Also check your timing, If its way off them everything will be messed up.

DriftBandit- i checked my fuel lines and they are correct... and i just now set my timing right... i'm now waiting until the morning when my new CAS comes in and i'm gonna try to see if it'll start... thanks for the advise i never thought about the timing til last night but now that it's right i'm gonna try it first thing t/mthanks

do you guys think that the CAS could cause it to not shoot fuel.. i mean i tested the injectors and they are good they're just not getting any signal....

The Camshaft position sensor, which I am pretty sure CAS is, monitors engine speed and piston position and sends its signal to the ecu to control fuel injection and ignition timing, So there is a good chance if your CAS is bad it is effecting fuel delivery.

If that dosnt work get your wiring looked at, and make sure your computer is good. Also double check if all your grounds are connected correctly.

DriftBandit - i am getting ready to leave the house and go get my Crank Angle Sensor then goto work as soon as i get off i'm goin to go try and start her up once again.. i greatly appreciate the advice.. lets hope it starts thanks , Chris

i tried the new Crank Angle Sensor and it did not start..... HELP

Have you checked ALL of the wiring from the CAS to the injectors.Try that.Also I know when I had the key in the on position and the CAS out I could turn the shaft on th CAS and hear the injectors clicking.Try that also.Hope it helps.

DriftBandit... yea man! she finally turned over the other night ... it turned out to be the company i bought my clip from sent me a screwed up wiring harness.. i mean the plug was busted all to $#%# but i figured i could get it to work anyway but after changing everything else i went and bought a new harness and did the rewiring for my wipers and power.. etc and it started instantly.. sorry for not posting this earlier just been real busy i had to have it sent to a garage to get a rear main seal replaced... i should have it back tomorrrow.. but i greatly appreciate all ur guys help throughout the last two weeks.. i would have went insane without some insight... thanks... Drift . what does ur car run in the 1/4 mile and what mods do you have ..

Dont know my 1/4 mile time, not really a drag racer? However there are still some things I have to figure out, Something is wrong with my MAFS wiring or because I can't rev past 5000 rpms:( And I am running extremely rich. As far as mods, I have the AVC-R boost controller, FMIC, Apexi air bypass valve, 255lph fuel pump and a ton of misc. crap, 4 piston caliper brembo rotors, tokiko suspension and some other custom suspension parts. And plenty more in the near future im sure.......man, I need a better job:)

What is your setup, Oh and how did you wire up your wipers so they work, Mine are on full power all the time when they are plugged in and I cant figure it out.

damn drift sounds like u have some good quality accesories like brakes and susp. doin good man... i have a stock s13 blacktop with intake and exhaust... smic.. eibach springs ,stillen strut bar exterior - greddy chin spoiler ,veilside wing stock 97-98 side skirts... just sold my seventeens wanted to get different ones so it'll look different in the spring .. if u want send me an e-mail when u read this and i'll send you a copy of the wiring for those wipers...
