won't start fixed everything

ok i'm having a weird problem my car will start from a jump but not on its own. changed starter and then started it from a jump. but won't start after that. I have no clue what it could be.

Did you hook up the starter correctly?MY idiot friends didn't know how.Take it to Autozone and have them put it on a tester it's free and they can check your battery etc.

next time you jump it, keep it running for a while. Check to see if the alternator is charging it, if not its probably a bad alternator. Check the battery and check the starter. Although if the starter were bad, would the car start from a jump?

hey guys thanks for all of your help it was actually the the battery was fried b/c I have a bad alternator. it was actually over charging the batt. and the acid all boiled out.

wow boiled out? I would have liked to see that. with protective gear.

well it actually happend over a period of time so it was just steaming out after every drive but It was small enough that I never noticed it.
