Yesterday I put in a new ecu, new spark plugs, and the original ptu back on my car. So now I have a new ecu, and the original ptu (which is wired correctly) but the car wont start. I pulled out the spark plugs and 4 of them are completely black. I tried cleaning them off but the black wont come off at all. What is causing this and why? It's not firing at all, so i dont see how the plugs could have turned black.

Ruling out the obvious, your injector size matches the ECU program correct?

Honestly I dont know anything about the ecu, I bought it off of ebay and it came out of a 93 tt and mine is a 91 tt. Thats all the guy knew about it. I know I have stock injectors, but how would I know what size injectors the ecu is programmed for?
