Just bought my 86 N/A manual Z in deep metallic red...nice. I want this to be a project car so bad, and it looks like it's begun faster than I expected. So I bought the car 2 days ago and it started/operated beautifully. Then a tire blew and I had it towed (first on two wheels, then it was transferred to a flat bed). Now this mofo won't start! I pulled some ECU codes and I got 11, 23, and 31. I'll be replacing the TPS since it's pretty inexpensive, but while I wait for it to come, what else should I check? When I turn the key to ON, I hear a click about every second...is that from my battery/starter/starter solenoid? Do I whip out an OHM meter and start checking all my ignition components? Would code 11 (the crank angle sensor) have anything to do with it? Any help would be very much appreciated. Oh and, I've downloaded the full-factory manual, but this electrical stuff aint to easy.

Thanks a bunch,Dan

Welcome to Nico!so the engine turns the engine it just won't fire? might be the distributor, the cas is in the distributor, and I think taht click is the fuel pump relay, turning on the pump and pressurizing the fuel lines

lifted the baby up from the front and that seemed to do the trick i'm thinking it was the starter pinion gear that got jammed in the flywheel. thoughts?
